Huron natural area also features a number of different trails that can be enjoyed by. Homer watson park features trails which is famous among artists and photographers for river and forest scenery. It is most spectacular in the fall months when a variety of colours surround the grand river.

The strasburg creek trail runs along the south edge of the park with views of the former battler’s pond. Kitchener is situated about 94 km (58 mi) southwest of toronto, and though often coupled with waterloo it does have its own distinct municipality and infrastructure. Its a lovely lime and gravel path that meanders along next to the stream, past manfield racing track, with lovely views of farmland for a few km until you reach kitchener park (awahuri forest).
